Notes and Schedule

*Please send a snack with your child every day.  You may include a drink as well.

*As an addition to our curriculum, the DC Everest 4K sites will be implementing the use of Scholastic’s Weekly Reader.  There is a small cost for a year’s worth of magazines to support your child’s learning.
We ask that you contribute $5.25 for the cost of your child’s subscription.  Checks may be written out to Beth Johnson as I have already paid for and ordered them.  Thank you.

*The folder you have provided will be for information to be sent home.  I will always send something home on Friday, but please check your child’s folder every day.

Open House

Thank you to everyone who attended our 4K Open House.  We had 100% participation and that is very awesome!  That lets me know that everyone is excited, prepared, involved, and ready to take this journey together.  We had some information out on the table as you walked in, but I thought I would share it here just in case I missed someone.  We will have a great year in 4K!

Drop Off/Pick Up/Inclement Weather/Misc Policies
Phone: 715-359-5451
4K email: bethak2L@gmail.com
Office email: administrator@keytolifeweston.org

AM 4K session starts at 9:00 AM.  You may drop off between 8:50-9:00.  If you need earlier care, your child will need to be entered into child care. Dismissal is at 11:40 or 12:00 if you choose to enroll your child in the free Bible Story time after 4K.

PM 4K session starts at 12:30.  The earliest drop off will be at 12:25 as we use the in between time for lunch and set up purposes.  If you need earlier care, your child will need to be entered into child care.  Dismissal is at 3:10 or 3:30 if you choose to enroll your child in the free Bible Story time after 4K.

Please walk your child to the classroom and if the door is closed, wait with your child until it is opened.  We have to abide by Wisconsin Licensing laws which is no child may be left unattended.

Anyone picking up your child should be on the contact list.  If they are not, there needs to be a written note/email for the office and for 4K.  Anyone picking up will need to show an ID and be entered into our fingerprint scan system, even if it is a one-time pick up.  This is for the safety of the children.

If your child rides the bus and they will be picked up or need to be dropped off at a different location, there needs to be a written note/email/phone call to me or the office.  We will inform the bus driver.  No note/email/phone call, your child will ride the bus as usual, no exceptions.

If your child will be absent, please be courteous and let us know via email or phone call.  We do take attendance and need to account for all of the children in our care.

Key to Life 4K follows the DC Everest School District calendar.  If the district is not in session, 4K is not in session.

In the event of inclement weather, 4K will be canceled if the DC Everest district closes.  Check your local news station or radio for that information.
If there is a 2 hour delay start time in the district, 4K AM and PM will be canceled due to busing conflicts.

Please always dress your child for the weather as we will go outside every day unless it is raining, under 0 degrees wind chill factor, or over 90 degrees heat index factor.  Then we will make use of our “big room” for gross motor activities.

Thank you for your cooperation!
