Classroom News
This week we focused on our Five Senses. We felt different textures, painted with cinnamon paint, explored foam dough, read a silly book called Smelly Socks, popped popcorn to use all of our senses, played a clapping game, and tasted salty, sour, bitter, and sweet. (What was my favorite taste?). In our small groups we made a texture city, practiced writing our names, and read our Weekly Reader. We also painted K’s with Kool aid. Our Nursery Rhyme was “I’m a Little Teapot” and we talked about the vocabulary of stout, handle, spout, and steamed. Our winter concert is coming up so be sure to fill out the form attached to your invitation so that we have an idea how many are attending so we can plan seats, beverages, and extra treats if needed. Snow Day Policy
4K follows the school district cancellations. Also, if there is a delayed start time, there will be no 4K due to busing issues.
Literacy Tip: Practice recognizing names in different forms. Upper case, Lower case, and last names.
Math Tip: Keep counting everything!!!
