Classroom News
This week we focused on Things on the Farm. We talked about what animals can be on the farm, what machinery helps farmers, discussed why farmers are important, read Over on the Farm and Bark George!, played with a farm and animals, made meals in the house area that come from the farm, tasted different kinds of milk, and played sounds on the farm bingo. In our small groups we practiced writing W and Y, counted spots on cows and matched them to the correct numeral, and decorated Y's with yellow yarn. Ms. Abby also made a cow and all the children got to "milk" it!
