Classroom News
This week we focused on Spring weather and Rainbows. We listed signs of spring, water colored rainbows, made rainbow necklaces with fruit loops, jumped on puddles labeled with the ABC’s, read When Spring Comes, read our Weekly Reader about sounds of spring, watched a video about spring sounds, and did some "spring cleaning" in our pretend play area. In our small groups we decorated U’s as umbrellas with eyedroppers and water to practice fine motor skills, played an umbrella grid game to practice counting on, and made 3D rainbows to practice sequence and counting to 20.

Please dress your child appropriately for the cooler spring weather. We go outside everyday and sometimes it is still very cold in the morning.
Thanks to all who decorated a "lucky" clover. They definitely brighten up our hallway!
Literacy Tip: Repeat words that start the same to practice beginning sound awareness.
Math Tip: Practice identifying numbers 11-20.
